11.9. Synchronizing Files Between Groove and SharePoint Document Libraries
Groove creates a copy of the files from the SharePoint library locally when you add a SharePoint Files tool to your workspace. As you or other members of your workspace make changes to the files in this tool, Groove stores the changes in a local log file. It does not immediately send the changes back to SharePoint. In addition, anyone with access to your SharePoint site and with rights to edit files in your document libraries can also make changes to these file versions, which do not immediately get published to Groove. Therefore, you need to periodically synchronize both sets of files.
