A Simple Office Application

You can learn only so much by listening or reading, then you have to try it for yourself. While you are just starting to learn the details of Office development, it will still be valuable for you to create a small, simple project if for no other reason than to give you an idea of what's involved and how simple it can be.

Since the purpose of this application is to send a Word document to a list of e-mail recipients, Word will be the “parent” application. To start the project, open Word and then press Alt+F11 to open the VBA editor. In the top left corner, the editor's Project Explorer window lists the current VBA projects and their components.
