Using the Web Components
All four of the Office Web components are ActiveX controls. Note that these components are not only for Web use, and can be used in settings other than the Web. For example, you can insert a PivotTable on an Excel spreadsheet for local use. Whether for local or Web use, to use them in your projects and to view their properties and methods in the Object Browser, you must add the controls to your project as follows:
1. | Select Additional Controls from the VBA editor's Tools menu to display the Additional Controls dialog box. |
2. | In the list, scroll down and put an X next to the control or controls you need:
