Using the Spreadsheet Control
If you simply place a blank Spreadsheet control on a Web page, the person who views that Web page will have a small, empty spreadsheet to use—but this is not all that interesting. More often you will want to present a spreadsheet that already contains some data and/or formulas, making it useful for a specific application. You can start by creating the spreadsheet in Excel, then publishing it—data and formulas will be published as part of the spreadsheet. Or, you can use the Spreadsheet control's object model to manipulate cell contents programmatically.
