Using the Chart Control
The Chart control provides several styles of two-dimensional graphs. The source of the data for the chart can be one of several: a DataSource control, a Spreadsheet control, a PivotTable control, an ADO recordset created programmatically, or any other ActiveX control that supports data binding. Data can also be provided locally, in HTML code, for example.
If you create a chart in Excel or Access, you will usually use the Chart Wizard to create the chart and connect it to its data. When you then publish the chart to a Web page, the connection is already established. For example, in Excel you can create a chart that is based on data in the spreadsheet.
