Before we start offshore oil and gas drilling, we need to conduct a series of preparations, which mainly involve drilling design. This includes the design of platforms (ships) in place, wellbore structure, wellhead devices, casing, cementing, drilling fluid, drills, hydraulic parameters, drill assembly, and the design and control of wellbore trajectory.
