3.9. Subsea Production Systems
The subsea production system refers to the scenario where the Christmas tree is put into the seabed and a mixture of oil and gas from the subsea Christmas tree is delivered to the subsea manifold center through the subsea manifold. The subsea manifold center accomplishes well metering, fluid collection, and pressurization, and then the well fluid is transported to the floating production system for processing and storage through a subsea pipeline; or metered at the subsea manifold center, then separated through the water separator. The separated gas going through the riser is delivered to the torch on the buoy for burning, while the separated oil through the subsea pipeline is delivered to the mooring tanker (FSO) ...
