5.4. Special Vehicles in Beach/Shallow Seas

Besides serious silt in beach areas, there are changes in land and water with tidal transition zones, and very shallow areas in beach/shallow seas, so generally used vehicles are difficult to adapt to the characteristics of these environments. In order to solve the problem of vehicles for these scenarios, many kinds of vehicles have been developed both domestically and overseas, which mainly consist of wheeled and tracked amphibious vehicles, hovercraft and air-cushioned transportation platforms, and mud pry and ships for extremely shallow sea areas. In the following sections let’s introduce some of these vehicles.
