So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Marysol is comfortable having a meteorologist who knows the science of weather behind her. For her beat, knowing television is more important than knowing the science behind weather. Weather is perhaps the most technology-driven reporting with graphics for maps, five-day forecasts, as well as abundant use of video clips. Knowing television is crucial for the weather reporter.
But when you come to the health and science reporter, it’s quite the opposite.
