5Writing the Script

So you've got the material for your report in the can. You've done your interviews in the field and you've observed the scene and shot the important video you will need to establish the situation and show the details. The next step is to put together a script, marshaling the facts you've gathered into an understandable report.

Your job now is really two-fold. You must accurately relate what happened. But you must also tell the story in such a way that the viewer will watch and remember. That is the mark of a good storyteller and there are tricks to doing this part well.
