Chapter 17
Managing People Problems on Your Team
Your most important resource is your people. After you’ve done the hard work of selecting the right team members and getting them revved up for the project, you need to make sure they stay on task, pull their weight, work collaboratively, and reach the quality standards you’ve established with your stakeholders. If you don’t, you’re highly unlikely to meet your goals, let alone your deadlines and budget targets. Here’s how to recognize and deal with various people problems you may encounter as a project manager.
