The greatest problem in communication is the illusion that it has been accomplished.
As a project manager, you use tools such as a WBS, Gantt chart, and earned-value graph, but project management is mainly about communicating with people. Project communication is about ensuring that customers, stakeholders, and team members know what they need to do their jobs, whether you’re trying to get stakeholders to agree on project objectives, telling team members about their assignments, or working with a group to resolve an issue that’s delaying the project. But keeping everyone informed about project status is an important part of project communication, too.
