Conclusion

As I proposed at the start of this book, everything in typographic design is connected. Like in Powers of Ten, the small pieces build the big pieces, and the big pieces are composed of the small pieces. The relationships they share can be approached from many different angles, but they are inextricably linked. Understanding these relationships gives you a deeper understanding of typography and the know-how to fiddle with the variables that affect it.
