Veronica Lawlor

Veronica Lawlor is an illustrator who has completed reportage campaigns for a diverse group of clients, including Brooks Brothers, the Hyatt Corporation, and the 3M Corporation. Her picture book, I Was Dreaming to Come to America: Memories of the Ellis Island Oral History Project (Viking Press) has remained in print for over 10 years. Her on-site reportage drawings of the 9/11 attacks on New York City are part of the permanent display of the Newseum of journalism in Washington, D.C. They are also published as September 11, 2001: Words and Pictures. Other exhibits and honors include the Society of Illustrators, the United Nations, Montserrat College of Art, The NYC Fire Museum, and the Ellis Island Museum of Immigration. ...
