Food, drink, and prepared dishes often look terrible in artificial light, providing yet another opportunity for flash to save the day. The white, almost continuous spectrum of flash light adds vitality to food shots and makes them look really appetizing. You can capture great food shots using sidelight, backlight, light painting, or “mystic light” effects. Believe it or not, you can even use on-camera flash.
