WHAT GUIDELINES DO YOU LIVE BY?
In your last maxim you defined a goal for yourself. Goals are great for setting direction, but how do you keep yourself on course? In a world full of mounting pressures and global competition, it is harder and harder to get ahead and easy to lose perspective. Throw in a large dose of ambition and drive, plus a touch of insecurity, and you have the potential for unhealthy things to happen. Our judgment can get warped. We can make decisions under pressure we will not be happy with when the pressure is off. Perhaps we will find we have turned into that tyrant boss we always hated.
