Conclusion
Abstract
In this chapter, we summarise and discuss the main findings presented in this book, and suggest how these findings can be used for extending existing models for the analysis of social phenomena, such as models for the study of information diffusion in social networks. In addition, we present a series of possible applications of the findings, aimed at improving online services and applications to create novel communication systems that are more centred on human social organisation, and we discuss how they can be enhanced by exploiting the results of this book.
