People who have never owned a blog of their own are more likely to roll their eyes at a friend who stops to record a life moment than to dig deeper beyond the surface and examine the phenomenon and what drives it for themselves. And with so many blogs already out there, a beginner doesn't even know where to turn first. Suddenly feeling overwhelmed, it might be easier to complain about the unknown and to load a news outlet in their browser instead.
