Chapter 9. Basic Tools
This chapter presents a number of tools that do not warrant a full chapter of their own. While these tools are not as complicated as the others listed in this book, they are the the tools most frequently used in network administration. When something goes awry, they will likely be the first tools you use, even if only to rule out certain problems before continuing with a more detailed examination.
