This recipe talks about how you can configure a different OpenShift server hostname. By default, when you set up your OpenShift account using the
rhc setup command,
rhc is configured to work with the public OpenShift PaaS hosted at openshift.redhat.com. However, it is possible to use a different OpenShift installation, which can be either an OpenShift Enterprise or an OpenShift Origin installation.
To step through this recipe, you will need to have
rhc installed on your machine. Refer to the Installing the OpenShift rhc command-line client recipe for instructions.
Open a command-line terminal and run the following command to use a different OpenShift server hostname:
$ rhc ...
