COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS

Looking again at my one-person office, the communications system I use to support my work includes a two-line desk telephone (one line with voice mail for sales and support and one for working discussions) plus a fax line; a mobile phone used when I travel (which also provides me with mobile e-mail); instant messaging and e-mail support; an Internet provider; a website hosting company; a conference telephone account; and an online meeting account. I also send and receive paper mail (although I scan into my computer any documents I will need to be able to search in the future). Paper is still a great communications medium. I guess you could say I’m connected!
