Assembly‐free optical fiber sensors can be realized by creating micro‐interferometers on optical fiber directly without assembling discrete multiple components. As a result, the robustness, thermal, and mechanical stability of such devices are significantly improved. This chapter describes the design, fabrication, and applications of assembly‐free micro‐interferometer‐based optical fiber sensors.
