In recent years, we have been witnessing a growing demand by the end users for bandwidth in mobile communications to support broadband wireless services such as, high-definition TV, mobile videophones, video conferencing, high-speed Internet access to name a few. With the increasing demand for high-quality multimedia services, the quest for higher bandwidth is expected to grow higher in the next decade.
