Appendix E. IP Network Design Checklist
As a network engineer, you will often approach a new network or a new piece of a familiar network and find you need some sort of guideline to examine and evaluate the network design. The checklist provided in this appendix is designed to help you ask the right questions, and make certain you do not forget anything critical to your understanding of the network design.
This list is, of course, just a starter list. You could probably add several new entries to it as you examine networks in your everyday work. You might also find that some areas are more important in certain situations than others.
