The Operational Excellence Pillar of a Growing Organization
Chapter 15 is focused on the Operational Excellence Pillar of the Information Technology (IT) Pillars Model (IPM) for the IT assessment and optimization work related to Case Study 2. As noted in earlier chapters, Chapters 12 to 16 walk through the full IT assessment and optimization steps outlined over Chapters 1 to 6 for a midsize and growing company with a mix of both older and more recent systems. Figure 15.1, presents, for the sake of context, highlights of the steps involved in optimizing and assessing IT.
