Chapter 7. Analyzing and Logging Performance
Windows 7 provides many tools to help you track performance. The previous chapter discussed ways you could track current and relative performance and provided techniques for determining resource usage using Task Manager and uncovering problems using the Event Logs. Although these tools are excellent, you might need to dig deeper to diagnose complex problems and optimize performance.
