Automatic Workload Management
In this section, we are going to discuss Automatic Workload Management concepts and the advantages offered to the applications that run on the RAC database. We will also take a closer look at how to fully utilize the RAC database prime features such as Load Balancing (Scalability) and Failover (High Availability) to improve a connection management and optimize the application workload.
By using the RAC features, the application can take complete advantage of scaling workload among available active RAC database instances and can also re-establish the lost user connection to surviving active RAC database instances.
