Defining an application module
In this section we will learn about building and configuring an application module using JDeveloper IDE. This section mainly focuses on declarative development aspects.
Creating application modules
To define an application module, perform the following steps:
- Right-click on the model project and select New Application Module. In the Create Application Module dialog window, enter a package name and application module name. Then click on Next.
- On the Data Model page, select the view object you want to expose for use by the client from the Available View Objects list and shuttle it to the Data Model list. Optionally, you can rename the view object instance in the Data Model list to make it more readable. Click on Next
