Using Oracle Drive

In the section "Items" earlier in this chapter, the process of adding items was demonstrated. The process of using the OracleAS Portal wizards is fine if you need to add a few items, but what if you need to add hundreds (or thousands) of items to your content repository? Also, consider this business requirement: you want a daily-generated report (or reports) added to your OracleAS Portal repository automatically. In both of these scenarios, the wizards described earlier will be, at best, cumbersome to use and, at worst, unable to provide the functionality desired. Luckily, there is an alternative to the OracleAS Portal Add Item wizards.
