Page Parameters

The ability to use parameters is especially valuable when discussing OmniPortlets. OmniPortlets, unlike portlets created with the OracleAS Portal development wizards, are fully "parameter-aware" and can be used to create a dynamic environment. In the following example, we’re going to create two pages: one with an OmniPortlet that passes a parameter and another with an OmniPortlet that accepts a parameter.

Page groups can be set up to accept or deny parameters. By default, page groups are set to accept parameters, but it’s always a good idea to check.
