Big Data Governance
Data governance is critical to getting the most usage and value from the information from data assets at an enterprise that is trusted by key decision makers. Enterprises have gone from being local self-contained organizations to global-complex networked organizations. Often multiple business functions are being performed by partners, so data governance becomes even more critical. And as more digitization has created new data as well as more details for existing data, data governance takes on a whole new meaning in the new world of Big Data with dimensions of extreme volume, wide variety, and high velocity.
