Formatting the Output in Discoverer Desktop and Plus
As we have already explained, Discoverer can be used to produce both ad hoc queries, which answer a specific one-off question, and queries that will be used by multiple users. Both can remain as queries, but as soon as you decide that the output needs to be viewed by somebody else, it becomes a report. This is especially true if you are planning on giving the results to senior management.
