Of all the parameters used to define how to connect to a database schema, the Work Schema parameter is probably the most crucial, even though many people do not understand the signification and importance of carefully selecting a proper schema. This is what we will focus on in this recipe.
To be able to execute this recipe, you will need to have enough privileges to create a new user in the database. For an Oracle database, this means that you need to be able to connect to the database with a user that has the
CREATE USER and
ADMIN OPTION privileges. If you are using a user that has the DBA privilege, you will have these privileges automatically.
