Many Oracle DBAs are still using traditional methods such as UNIX scripts and crontab to execute a scheduled backup and recovery operation that uses RMAN or Data Pump. Most of these operations can also be easily achieved by using Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c (OEM12c R3) Cloud Control.
