Database Triggers
Database triggers are specialized stored programs that are triggered by events in the database. They run between the time when you issue a command and the time when the command is actually performed. As a result of being between these times, you cannot use SQL Data Control Language in triggers: SAVEPOINT, ROLLBACK, or COMMIT.
