Chapter 14 Integration Between E-Business Suite and SOA
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) provides an interoperability framework so that any systems, including E-Business Suite, can expose their functionality through a common interface of software services. In reality, SOA still means different things to different people at this point in time, and for that reason, we are first going to declare that, in the context of this book, by “exposing business functionality,” most of the time we mean exposing E-Business Suite public APIs, open interfaces, Business Events, and XML Gateway transactions as Web Services.
