A Reliability Management Toolbox
Reliability management, the subject of our first toolbox chapter, is traditionally where enterprise application staff spends most of their time: troubleshooting errors, solving problems, handling questions, and completing general requests from end users or the help desks that support them.
This is never going to disappear entirely; unexpected failures will always happen with broad and complex enterprise applications. However, I hope the information in this chapter will help you catch these failures sooner rather than later, reducing their impact and keeping the resolution time to a minimum.
