Important Security Elements of AutoConfig
The elements discussed in this section are from my AutoConfig file and have security relevance. Note that AutoConfig changes between versions. The following was returned from Oracle E-Business Suite 11i.10.
Ports Used Within Oracle E-Business Suite
The first set of elements show the ports that will be configured within Oracle E-Business Suite (11i.10):
<dbport oa_var="s_dbport" oa_type="PORT"> 1521 </dbport>
“s_dbport” is used for the database port (the default is 1521). This will increment when a rapid clone is performed.
<reports_port oa_var="s_repsport" oa_type="PORT"> 7000 </reports_port>
Oracle Reports server “s_repsport” runs by default on port 7000. This will be incremented by a rapid clone.
