Deploying a page to EBS
We are now going to be deploying the page to Oracle EBS and perform the configuration required to run the page from within Oracle EBS. When we deploy the files to the server we need to transfer all the files to the application server. We will also import the PG.xml file to the MDS repository and this has to be run for all the pages. At runtime, EBS accesses our page from the MDS repository (that is, the database) and not from the application server. The PG.xml file does not have to be stored on the application server, but it is a good practice to maintain a copy of any PG.xml and RN.xml files on the application server.
