APPENDIX EStandard Repository Views
The repository views are designed to get information from the Grid Control repository in the context of a given target, user, job, blackout, and so on. Unless you want to give the database a real workout and stress-test the IO subsystem, dumping the content of all violations or all notifications is not a wise idea. Not all views created in the Grid Control repository are covered in this section. Only a couple of common ones that can be easily used in reports are listed in this section. Use your favorite tool (like SQL*Developer or SQL*Plus) to experiment with these views, in a test environment.
