APPENDIX FCommand-Line Tool Options
The following pages have a small reference of the most commonly used command-line tools, and the available options for those commands.
EMCTL: Agent-Side Commands
$ emctl clearstate [agent]
Clear all state for all the targets. This means that the first evaluation of each metric after issuing this command will send over the state of that metric again. This command should be only be run when the Agent is up and running. Only use this command when instructed to do so by Oracle Support or Oracle Development.
$ emctl clearsudoprops
Remove the properties for PDP commands executed by the Agent. This is for Agent internal use only, and should not be run on its own.
$ emctl config agent getlocalhost
Return the hostname ...
