Things change. They always change. That’s the one constant you can count on.
And a data center is no exception to this rule. Whether it’s because of resource restrictions, increased capacity, or a new company direction, new machines will come in, old machines will be removed, and existing machines will be upgraded.
All these changes mean work for the system administrators. Some of it can be done in Grid Control itself. Other things will be done directly on the machines involved, and the changes will be recorded in Grid Control. There is always something changing somewhere out there...
