Using Exalytics Features in Dashboards and Analyses
Dashboards, analyses, and other BI objects created for an Exalytics system are defined in the same way as for non-Exalytics systems, and use the same set of visualizations and data controls as regular Oracle Business Intelligence systems. However, some features that were designed for Exalytics use are enabled by default as part of the Exalytics installation process, but need to be manually enabled when used outside of Exalytics.
There are three main dashboard and analysis features that were designed to be used in Exalytics environments, and take advantage of the in-memory features of the platform to provide fast, interactive analysis of potentially large data sets:
