The simplest, and sometimes most effective, way of analyzing a Fusion Middleware environment’s health and failure conditions consists of examining the environment’s log files. To do so, however, requires a good understanding of the Fusion Middleware logging infrastructure—that is, the way log files are generated—as well as the format of the content of the log files.
