Configuring Audit
In Chapter 4, we configured audit for the OPSS credential store framework by enabling audit on some of the credential-related operations. Out of the box, Fusion Middleware audit framework uses a file-based repository. In a production environment, it is strongly recommended that an RDBMS-based audit repository be used. The obvious advantage of the RDBMS-based audit repository is the ability to centralize the audit data across the entire domain in a single protected repository. With the RDBMS-based repository, Fusion Middleware audit framework supports integration with Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BI Publisher).
