As you navigate around HFM, some of the messages you get will be very intuitive. You might get a message “Member already exists,” for example, when trying to add metadata with the same label. The system won’t let you do that, and the message is exactly what you would expect. It is my hope that these messages will at least get you in the right direction, and give you more information to get your application back up and healthy.

What it means This message would appear when loading or extracting metadata from the HFM application. This usually means there was some problem with a previous file loaded, and it has created a problem with the tables that prevents you from extracting or loading the metadata. ...
