Everyday, more and more companies are entering the E-marketplace by offering their products and services through the Internet. This shift has led to fundamental changes in the product-development life cycle. The challenges facing CIOs and IT managers have increased accordingly as they are expected to deliver complex applications and application environments in less time than traditional client/server applications in order to meet the more sophisticated demands of their customers and to remain competitive.
