This appendix provides some details about the components available in the JDeveloper Component Palette that you can use in your Java client programs. Dozens of visual components are available, providing much more flexibility than the 25 or so components in Oracle Forms Developer. Beyond the dizzying array of components, each Java component has much greater flexibility than its correlate in Oracle Forms Developer or similar products. Each component also has many methods and supports many different listeners and events used to trigger other program behavior.
