What Is JHeadstart?
JHeadstart is a product that is developed and maintained by Oracle Consulting; it is a development toolkit built on top of ADF that uses JDeveloper’s extension API to fully integrate with the JDeveloper Integrated Development Environment (IDE). JHeadstart generates fully functional, ADF-based web applications with features such as wizards, trees, shuttles (multi-select fields), lists of values (LOVs) with validation, advanced search, quick search, and role-based security. You coded some of these features manually in the sample application in Part II, but JHeadstart generates them from metadata properties.
