So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Setting Up Oracle JDeveloper and Your Development Platform
Developing for Android and iOS with JDeveloper requires you to install some additional tools. This is because during deployment, MAF applications are built using the platform-specific SDKs. In the case of Android, JDeveloper uses the Android SDK, which is available for both Microsoft Windows and Apple OS X. For iOS, JDeveloper uses Apple’s XCode, which is only available on Apple’s OS X. Therefore, you need to install the relevant SDKs that you want to use, of course being aware that iOS development will require a Mac, but Android deployments can be done on both a Mac and a PC. ...
