Setting Up Oracle JDeveloper and Your Development Platform
Developing for Android and iOS with JDeveloper requires you to install some additional tools. This is because during deployment, MAF applications are built using the platform-specific SDKs. In the case of Android, JDeveloper uses the Android SDK, which is available for both Microsoft Windows and Apple OS X. For iOS, JDeveloper uses Apple’s XCode, which is only available on Apple’s OS X.
